Take a swim and spent some time in the heated open-air swimming pool De Dobbe just across the road. During your stay at Het Bosmeer you have unlimited free access to this pool at opening times.

There is a large 50-meter pool with 2 diving boards and a family slide for lots of fun. For smaller children there's a family pool, and for the youngest kids you'll find a paddling pool.

At the terrain there are also a football field, volleyball court, air trampoline, sunbathing lawn, playground for the little ones, toilets and showers (for a fee). And ofcourse there's a kiosk for a nice cup of coffee/tea, snacks or a refreshing ice cream.

All inclusive: coffee, tea, lemonade, popsicles, fries, snacks and soup are included in the entrance fee, so no unexpected costs. Car parking is also included. You can buy tickets at a discount at our reception.

Visit the Spokeplas for a 'day at the beach'. Take a swim or just relax. There are, among other things, a water pump, swing, horizontal bars and a climbing house with slide spread across the site. Various beaches and sunbathing areas to enjoy. No good weather for taking a swim? Then take walk around the Spokeplas and through the forest.

Do you want a fun day out with the children? At De Drentse Koe the children can play outside, ride pedal tractors and go-karts, play in the sandbox, on the bouncy castle and much more.

Is the weather bad? Then there is a heated play barn with a play riding school, building attic, climbing and sliding tower and a glow in the dark ground floor with, among other things, Old Dutch games and panna football.

The Spookjespad is a nature and discovery trail around the Spokeplas for children from the age of 4 to 8. There are wooden statues along the route and each statue has an assignment. The aim of the assignments is to introduce children to the nature around us in a playful way.

The 1.5 kilometer route starts with the ghost at the beginning of the Spokedam, which is indicated by ghosts on the trees - sometimes the ghosts are a little hidden, making it a treasure hunt. The assignments are explained with the images. To make the route and assignments even more fun, a bag can be purchased at the reception containing among other things, the assignments, a magnifying glass, mirror and a search card for insects and trees.

Go to Wildlands and discover animals from all continents. In Jungola you take a boat trip on the Rimbula River through the jungle and a caretaker will tell you all about the elephants. In Nortica you take a 4D ride and discover the polar regions above and below the ice and a caretaker will tell you all about the penguins.
